Complex Coronary Procedures

Significant experience in managing high-risk coronary interventions in patients with severe LV dysfunction, supported by mechanical circulatory devices including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Impella.
CIED Implantation
Implantation of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices including permanent pacemakers, single and dual chamber, biventricular devices, and implantable cardioverter defibrillators. Specialised training in conduction system pacing including Left Bundle Branch (LBB) pacing.
Completed Conduction System Pacing training organised by Medtronic Medical Education at Hero DMC Heart Institute, Ludhiana, in 2025.
Structural Heart Interventions
Procedures for valvular and structural heart disease, performed with imaging-guided precision and a multidisciplinary approach to patient selection and planning.
Includes balloon mitral valvuloplasty for rheumatic mitral stenosis, with experience in pre and post procedural assessment using global left atrial strain analysis.
Intracoronary Imaging
IVUS (intravascular ultrasound) and OCT (optical coherence tomography) guided interventions for accurate lesion characterisation, stent sizing, and post-procedural optimisation.
Formally certified through the APSC TCIP (Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology, Training Course in Intracoronary Physiology and Imaging) programme in Hong Kong, in both 2024 and 2025.
EP Studies and Ablation
Electrophysiology studies using 3D electroanatomical mapping systems, with radiofrequency ablation for supraventricular tachycardias including AVNRT, AVRT, and selected atrial arrhythmias.
Echocardiography and Diagnostics
Comprehensive adult and pediatric echocardiography services. Experienced in the use of advanced echocardiographic techniques including global left atrial strain and peak atrial longitudinal strain analysis.
